Beauport Stitches

a crafty port of call

I Made A Knit Pillow!

I finally made something other than a hat!  I was watching Knit & Crochet Now Season 5, Episode 6, and this pillow was one of the projects.

It’s a great piece of garter stitch with join as you go, like making a log cabin quilt.  The back of the pillow {or other side ~ depending on your perspective} is striped and uses slip stitches. I had a few issues with one length of pick up and stitch, but other than that, I really enjoyed knitting this.  I used up some Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice yarn from my stash.  This pillow cover is going on the “Things To Knit as Gifts” list!

The free pattern can be found on Ravelry and is called Geometric Pillow by Sandi Rosner.

Give it a whirl, you’ll love it!
